BRAHMARSHI SUBHASH PATRI

Subhash Patri was born in Shakkarnagar, Bodhan, Nizamabad district of present Telangana State on 11th November 1947 to P.V. Ramana Rao and Savitri Devi. He was the second amongst the four children and all are well educated. Patriji’s childhood was spent in Shakkarnagar, where his father worked in Nizam Sugars. He went to Mahabub College High School and later graduated in Science from Arts & Science College, Secunderabad. He completed B.Sc (Agr) degree in 1969 and briefly worked as Inspector, Income Tax Dept before joining Agriculture University, Rajendra Nagar to do Masters in Soil Science in the year 1972–74. Patriji learnt classical Carnatic flute from T.S. Chandrasekharan who incidentally was a disciple of the legendary T.R.Mahalingam. Family:Patriji married Swarnamala on 26th May, 1974. Swarnamala elder sister was married to Patriji’s elder brother in 1969. Swarnamala Patri, has been a great support to Patriji throughout his spiritual journey., and she herself is a great spiritual master with deep enlightenment. Patriji and Swarnamala are proud parents of Parinitha and Parimala who were born in 1978 and 1982 respectively. Both of them are great meditators having deep spiritual insights into life and have tremendous wisdom. In 1999 Parinitha married Srinivas Reddy who is a Spiritual Master and Parimala married Mihir Sanghvi in 2010. Parimala is a Spiritual Empowerment Leader and an Energy Worker based out of USA. |

Patriji was very fond of Cricket and Chess. He is a remarkable cricketer and a phenomenal chess player.
Patriji says “Cricket enables the players to develop excellent Group Consciousness”.
In the year 1975, Patriji joined Coromandel Fertilizers and was posted in Kurnool. As destined, he met the great doyen of Carnatic Music, Dr. Sripada Pinakapani, who took Patriji under his wings and taught him intricate technicalities in music from 1975 to 1978. Patriji also learnt “Vocal Music”.
Subhash Patri first learnt meditation form his colleague and friend Ramachenna Reddy and became enlightened in the Year 1979 after some serious experiments with “Anapanasati Meditation”. Since 1979, Patriji began striving hard to awaken and enlighten each and every individual. Further, in the following decades, Patriji read hundreds of books on Spirituality and the Science of Meditation written by Old Age and New Age Gurus / Masters from all over the world.
Patriji along with his friends Ramchenna Reddy and Venkataratnam met Sadananda Yogi on 1st January, 1981 in Kurnool. Swamiji looked at them, and after a while spoke: “You will obtain nothing but Brahma Gnana here.” Patriji told him: “Swamiji! We want only that.” After a while, Swamiji told, “Come tomorrow morning. I will initiate you into meditation”. Swamiji used to recite many wonderful spiritual experiences in Arabic and Telugu to Patriji. Swamiji never moved out of his old lodge and voluntarily left his body on 22nd May 1983 in the hands of Patriji and Dr. Sripada Pinakapani.
In 1990, Patriji along with his spiritual friends B.V. Reddy, N.G. Showry and Paul VijayKumar established “The Kurnool Spiritual Society”. The sole mission of the society was to create intense awareness amongst all individuals about the Science of Anapanasati Meditation and its primary role in providing physical, mental and intellectual health and well-being.
Patriji discovered that “Meditation done inside a Pyramid is thrice more profound and powerful” and with the help of B.V.Reddy constructed the “Buddha Pyramid Meditation Centre” in 1991.
Patriji resigned his job in the Year 1992 and ever since took to uninterrupted spiritual service to the whole of mankind, which has resulted in thousands of “Pyramid Spiritual Societies” being established throughout India and abroad. Patriji travelled extensively to every nook and corner of the country including remote villages and personally guided millions of people of all ages and occupations to experience and master ‘Anapanasati Meditation’, ‘Vegetarianism’, ‘Pyramid Energy’ and ‘New Age Spiritual Science’. Patriji was particularly against any form of meat eating and advocated being kind to animals and plants.
Consequently, experiencing the benefits of Anapanasati Meditation and Vegetarianism, several Spiritual aspirants became masters and a great Spiritual and Friendship revolution started all over Andhra Pradesh and India. Thousands of Pyramids were constructed and as many Pyramid Centres and Spiritual Societies were established voluntarily by Meditators, causing a wave of PSSM expansion.

Patriji authored over sixty Books, Audio and Video CDs, mostly in Telugu on various New Age Spiritual Science topics. Under Patriji’s guidance, a vast amount of spiritual science literature in various languages have been published. Books authored by great spiritual masters across the world were translated in several Indian languages for the benefit of Meditators.
‘Subhash Patri’ was fondly called ‘Patri Sir’ or ‘Patriji’ or ‘Brahmarshi Pitamaha Patriji’ by his disciples.
Patriji attained Mahaparinirvana on 24th July, 2022 in Kailasapuri, Anmaspally, Kadthal, Telangana.
